Florida Classic Closets was founded by Mel Gitlin and partner Steve Eckstein in of 1989. A lifetime craftsman, Mel, created the idea of installing shelving systems in his own home and then realized the strong business possibilities. After the application of hard work, desire, and honesty Mel, son Marc, and Steve have become Florida’s premier closet design company.
